Even after coming in contact with water bowls, grass, utensils, they get caught by this virus. If this virus is not treated on time, it can even kill the dogs. 

What are its symptoms?

Like every disease, the symptoms of parvo also start appearing in the dog. Talking about its symptoms, the dog stops feeling hungry after getting infected. Symptoms like vomiting, blood in diarrhea, weakness and fever are seen. Adult dog has more chances of survival. If the puppy is infected, its chances of survival are reduced.

What is the treatment

Doctors say that if the dog gets infected with Parvo, then there is no cure for it. The disease should not be serious, so it is treated on the basis of symptoms. To prevent parvo, its vaccine must be applied every year. Puppies start getting vaccinated from the age of 6-8 weeks. Until they are 16 weeks old, boosters are given every 3-4 weeks. A booster dose should be given every year after becoming an adult.
